Corona, CA (October 29, 2018) – The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League have unveiled 2019 schedules that could encourage more opportunity for drivers to compete in both circuits.

Bill Smith, Series Director for both the LOORRS and LOMSCL, said a cooperative effort by all parties went into construction of schedules that are aimed at giving teams ample time between events for travel and preparation. Logistically, that has been a challenge in the past for teams hoping to enter races in both series, Smith said.

2019 LOORRS Schedule

“With a lot of communication and cooperation with all the track owners and promoters, we’ve come up a great schedule for 2019,” Smith said. “Some teams have expressed interest in competing in both the LOORRS and LOMSCL and I think this schedule will allow teams the opportunity to do so.”

For example, the LOORRS event June 29-30 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri is two weeks after the LOMSCL race in Crandon, Wisconsin and two weeks before the Elk River, Minnesota event.

“We enjoyed a successful 2018 season in both series and look forward to an even better 2019 with release of our schedule the first step toward that,” Smith said.

The LOORRS recently closed out the 2018 season with the Challenge Cup at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. That again will be the season-concluding site in 2019. The LOMSCL again will conclude its four-event weekend schedule at Crandon International Raceway in Wisconsin next year.
